JANELLE BARRETO
Janelle has always enjoyed an active lifestyle. From a young age she studied musical theater and various disciplines of dance including tap, jazz, modern, and ballet. As an adult she sought out various exercise programs - including yoga, spinning and fitness training - that would keep her body and mind healthy.
Janelle has been teaching for over 15+ years. She was part of the first group of instructors to open with MIGHTY PILATES in Santa Monica, helped to open and was Lead Instructor at CLUB PILATES Culver City, and taught at THE BODY PROCESS in Culver City.
Of all the exercise options out there, Pilates is her favorite. Janelle believes it’s the holy grail, the cure-all for all things neck, back, spine and hips, producing the best results for a strong, pain free and sculpted body. The personal success Janelle has had with Pilates led her to study the method. She wants others to experience the amazing benefits of Pilates, to help others to get relief, be pain free, and ultimately feel good. Janelle’s teaching radiates with this passion!
Janelle is STOTT PILATES trained and certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Arc Barrel and Jump Board through the John Garey Fitness & Pilates Studio in Long Beach, CA, as well as trained in TRX.
